The Golden Deer

I wish had i never wished

to have thought that you were  there

hiding around those old places of truth and despair .

The closer i got

the farther you went

i could hear your whisper

to eclipse the end .

My sleepless eyes knew

that i was lost

amidst the echoes

and the frost.

I walked back  , cursing

hope the biggest of all charms

but somehow i still hoped

to have died in your arms.
